Forged in anticipation of my upcoming journey to Japan, the KAJI Workshirt blends Japanese spirit with Americana grit.
Cut with a classic Western yoke across the shoulders and back, the KAJI channels mid-century ranchwear through the lens of modern craftsmanship. Available in Teacore Black and our sought after British Tan, the 1.3-1.4mm Italian steerhide is hot-waxed and oil-treated during tanning. This gives both colourways that deep, slightly waxy feel and a rich, tonal depth that develops beautifully with wear. This finish helps the leather stay supple while enhancing its natural grain and patina over time.
The Kaji Workshirt is unlined, allowing the leather to breathe and mould naturally to your body. It’s finished with nickel poppers down the front and on the tapered cuffs, offering a clean, purposeful look with a subtle nod to Western heritage.
Those who know me will know I take real pride in a well-cut pattern - and I’ve always believed that a good pattern can make you look more balanced, no matter your build. I have designed the KAJI to do just that: refining the proportions to compliment the body, with a fit that’s on the slimmer side.
