At R. West, every jacket is crafted with care and individually inspected as part of a rigorous quality control process. Each garment is photographed prior to dispatch to ensure it leaves our studio in excellent condition.

STOCK JACKETS
Stock jackets may be returned or exchanged within 28 days of delivery.
Items must be returned:
- unworn and in brand-new condition
- in original packaging
- free from marks, creasing, scents or signs of wear
- securely packaged for transit
A £10 restocking fee will be deducted from all refunds to cover inspection, handling, and processing.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless an item is confirmed faulty.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 working days following inspection.
MADE-TO-ORDER
All Made-to-Order and Made-to-Measure garments are final sale.
Each jacket is individually produced once an order is placed, with leather cut specifically for the customer. As production begins immediately, these orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded.
We strongly recommend confirming sizing, fit, and specifications prior to purchase. We are always happy to advise before an order is placed.
FAULTS AND REPAIRS
If your item arrives with a genuine manufacturing fault, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.
All garments undergo detailed inspection and photography prior to shipment. Where a fault is confirmed, we will arrange repair, replacement, or an appropriate resolution.
Natural variations in leather grain, tone, and creasing are inherent characteristics of full-grain leather and are not considered defects.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
International customers are responsible for return shipping to our UK studio using a tracked and insured service.
To avoid unnecessary customs charges:
- Declare the item as a returned product with a nominal customs value (typically not exceeding £35 GBP)
Failure to correctly declare returned goods may result in import duties or taxes being charged upon re-entry to the UK. Any such charges incurred will be deducted from the refund.
