RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We take pride in making sure our Rugged West family are over the moon with their jackets. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the product you have received, please drop us a line at info@ruggedwest.co and we'll sort that out for you.
Any order of a stock sized jacket (Ready-to-Buy) comes with a no quibble 28 day return or exchange policy. Please refer to our returns and exchanges page for instructions on how to ship the jacket back to us.
Understandably, we cannot accept returns on Made-to-Order or Made-to-Measure jackets.
Made-to-Order:
Here at Rugged West, we often use specially made or limited leathers that are cut specifically for your piece once an order is placed.
Because of the nature of this process, once leather has been cut, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
We do not hold bulk stock. Every jacket is individually crafted for the customer, meaning resources (leather, labour, time) are committed as soon as the build process begins.
Please ensure your order is correct and final before confirming at checkout. We’re always happy to answer questions or help you choose the right fit, style, or leather beforehand.
Faults & Repairs:
Of course, if your item arrives with a manufacturing fault, please let us know within 7 days of delivery and we will inspect and repair it where appropriate
RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
Customers have 28 days from the date of delivery to request a return. We cannot accept returns after this period. Please note that in order to receive a refund, items must be returned in their unworn, brand new condition with tags still attached.
Please ensure that jackets are packaged carefully so that they are presentable when we receive them back, as they will be re-added to our inventory.
If you change your mind about a product, it is your duty to return the item back to us. We recommend using a trackable service.
Once we receive your returned order, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7-10 working days.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
For customers residing outside of The United Kingdom, please note the following guidelines for returning items:
- You are responsible for mailing the return to our UK office using a trackable service.

Ensure to complete customs forms and invoices accurately. Mark the items as a return and reference the original order number.

Declare the value of the returned items at no more than GBP 35

Failure to follow this process may result in us incurring taxes and duties on the item for a second time, which will be deducted from your refund.
