THE HUDSON
THE HUDSON
Cut from 1.5–1.6 mm (4 oz) full aniline Teacore steerhide, the Hudson is heavyweight in every sense. The hide is drum-dyed a rich dark tobacco brown and pigmented with a jet black overdye. It is finished with a heavy glaze that gives it a deep, wet sheen straight out of the box. It starts off rigid and unyielding - but wear it, break it, live in it and it’ll mould to you like armour. Over time the black surface will reveal the warm tobacco-brown core beneath, developing a rich, lived-in patina unique to you.
The design takes its cues from the 1953 “One Star” jacket made famous by Marlon Brando in The Wild One - a piece so rebellious that some American schools banned students from wearing leather entirely after the film’s release. Brando’s jacket had a single star on each epaulette, a cropped, aggressive silhouette, and enough attitude to spark a cultural movement.
The Hudson keeps that spirit alive. It’s cropped just above the beltline, with a close, flattering cut inspired by original 1950s patterns - short body, long sleeve balance, heavy hardware, and clean lines.
Built for riders, collectors, and anyone who understands that a good jacket should outlive its owner.
